Rangers boss Derek McInnes has reached the 100-day mark in charge and, according to Sky Sports, it has been “a rollercoaster ride”. The first four matches were winless, before an embarrassing European exit to Jablonec.
From early doubts to momentum
When Rangers return after the international break, the aim will be to move to the top of the Scottish Premiership for the first time this season. The turnaround is built on form: the club has won six in a row, including back-to-back Old Firm wins.
Sky Sports links the improvement in part to a bold summer recruitment plan. Rangers made 14 signings for the second straight summer, but each window looked different—this one focused on physicality and speed while lowering the squad’s average age, and also sought players who could grow in value. Still, McInnes has a quick test with Kilmarnock on October 10.
