Raul Asencio rejects interest from Chelsea and Liverpool

Raul Asencio of Real Madrid has turned down interest from Liverpool and Chelsea this summer, according to Marca’s Paper Talk roundup.

The item is part of the latest batch of transfer chatter covered in the newspapers, where Sky Sports also reviewed other stories beyond Asencio, including Manchester United’s behind-closed-doors friendly and the latest on Eddie Howe after his Newcastle spell.

For Real Madrid, the key point is that the defender remains in the group, with no need to address two concrete approaches during the summer window.
