Rayo Vallecano hit with €6,000 fine and partial Vallecas closure

Rayo Vallecano have been sanctioned with a €6,000 fine and a one-match partial closure of Vallecas, limited to the stand behind the dressing-area zone. The Disciplinary Committee rules the club responsible for a serious offence for disorder during the match, under article 107.1 linked to article 15 of the RFEF disciplinary code, as reported by Mundo Deportivo.

The decision follows incidents last Saturday in Vallecas during their La Liga match against Athletic Club, which was suspended in the 13th minute due to repeated objects being thrown onto the pitch. The Committee will forward the ruling to the Single Competition Judge, and La Liga will have to coordinate with both clubs to set the date to finish the stopped game.
