RB Leipzig trains in Cottaweg and heads to Madrid for Real Madrid clash

RB Leipzig will finish its final training session in Germany before taking on Real Madrid on Wednesday at the Santiago Bernabéu, with the team travelling to Madrid Tuesday afternoon, according to Mundo Deportivo.

Martín Demichelis will follow the same routine as Real Madrid did on their trip to Roma: a morning session at the club facilities in Cottaweg, a midday departure, and a press conference at the rival’s stadium in the evening. The Argentine coach is expected to speak to the media on Tuesday from 18:30, alongside one of his players.

The visitors come off a 1-0 Champions League win over PSV, but they also have fresh memories of a 6-1 defeat at Bayern in Munich. Christoph Baumgartner trained with the group after entering the final stage of his recovery and has a chance to return after four months out. Marc Guiu missed out with a muscle problem, and Assan Ouédraogo was absent due to an issue in his right shoulder.
