Real Betis have a date for the Copa clash vs Navalcarnero on Oct 28

Real Betis already know the kick-off time for their first-round Copa del Rey match: on Wednesday, October 28 at 21:00, they face CDA Navalcarnero.

The date fits a tough stretch for Manuel Pellegrini’s squad: they travel to Balaídos to play Celta on Sunday, October 25, host Málaga on Saturday, October 31, and then head to Dortmund on Tuesday, November 4 for the Champions League tie against Borussia.

Stadium checks could move the game

The venue is still not final because Navalcarnero’s Mariano González stadium must pass a federation inspection to confirm it meets the requirements for a match of this level. The club is also looking at ways to increase attendance. The Mariano González ground holds about 2,500 and there’s no option to add temporary stands. Móstoles, Fuenlabrada and Alcorcón are among the venues being considered, while Getafe and Leganés are viewed as more difficult. The decision will come after the inspection, according to Mundo Deportivo.
