Real Madrid beat Barça 1-2 at Camp Nou and end its home streak
Real Madrid retake the lead in Clásico wins, 107 to 106, and end Barça's run of 18 home league victories at Spotify Camp Nou.
Real Madrid won 1-2 at the Spotify Camp Nou against Barcelona on the night of 25 October and move back ahead in the all-time Clásico count: 107 wins to 106, according to Mundo Deportivo. Across 265 official meetings in all competitions, there have been 52 draws.
In goals, Madrid also lead, with 446 to Barça's 442.
A streak broken at home
Barça had won all 18 league matches played at the Camp Nou since returning from their exile at the Estadi Olímpic de Montjuïc, and last season they clinched the title with a perfect home record. Now they fall to a side that had already beaten them in Europe: Atlético de Madrid won 2-0 at the same ground in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final.
Next Clásicos
The two sides meet again in matchday 35 of La Liga, on 8 or 9 May at the Santiago Bernabéu. They could also meet in the Supercopa de España final in Istanbul on Saturday 7 February, if both get past Atlético and Real Sociedad in the semi-finals. The Copa del Rey, from the quarter-finals onwards, and the Champions League are other ways to add more Clásicos this season.
