Real Madrid turns to Champions League test vs RB Leipzig
After beating Sevilla 4-1, Madrid trained in Valdebebas as Asencio and Rodrygo continue their recovery ahead of Leipzig on Wednesday (21:00).
Real Madrid returned to training at Valdebebas just hours after beating Sevilla 4-1, with their focus now on the Champions League clash against RB Leipzig in the Bernabéu on Wednesday for matchday three (21:00, Movistar Liga de Campeones).
As stated by the club on its official website, the starters completed a light recovery session, while the players who had less time worked harder. The session included activation on the pitch, possession drills, and attack-vs-defence series, before finishing with intense matches on a smaller field.
Only Mario Asencio and Rodrygo remain in their respective recovery processes and are the only ones unavailable for Mourinho for the Leipzig game.
