Real Madrid vs Villarreal: Mourinho’s probable XI with Mbappé

Real Madrid take on Villarreal this Saturday at 21:00, and José Mourinho has picked an XI meant to clear up doubts in their play while, with Barcelona playing earlier against Getafe, keeping the gap from growing in the standings. In goal, Courtois starts, with Cucurella and Dumfries at full-back and Rüdiger alongside Konaté in central defense.

In midfield, Tchouaméni plays as the pivot with Bernardo Silva, who has had very limited minutes for Portugal recently and could add more combination play. Up front, Mourinho keeps a familiar structure: Bellingham as the No.10, Vinícius on the left, and Mbappé as the striker.

Güler is set to complete the front five from the right, while Fede Valverde misses the match as a precaution. Konaté, who had been a doubt due to knee discomfort, is finally included and will start, while Diomande remains without a starting status despite arriving from Leipzig this summer for €146m.
