Real Sociedad: Antiviolence proposes 3,001-euro fine over a banner
Antiviolence is proposing a 3,001-euro sanction to Real Sociedad for access-control failings at Anoeta vs Atlético Madrid.
The Commission against Violence, Racism, Xenophobia and Intolerance in Sport has proposed a 3,001-euro fine for Real Sociedad over a banner at Anoeta during their match against Atlético Madrid.
The proposal says the club did not prevent the entry and display of a large banner in the stands. It also flags that the banner was not submitted in advance as required by stadium safety rules and lacked an official certificate proving it was made with fire-retardant materials.
As reported by Mundo Deportivo, Real Sociedad now has to decide whether to file allegations or accept the penalty through the access checks at their ground.
