Real Sociedad returns to training with just one session before Málaga

Real Sociedad head into their La Rosaleda trip after their European match against Union Saint-Gilloise: the squad flew back on a charter and now turns straight to their league visit to Málaga this Sunday at 18:30.

Mundo Deportivo reports that the team returns to training tomorrow at 12:00 in Zubieta with a post-match session. The starters will do recovery work, while the rest will handle load-compensation tasks.

With so little time, Pellegrino Matarazzo will have only one full on-pitch practice to fine-tune the tactics for the Andalusian test: Saturday at 15:00. That tight schedule also puts minute management and rotations front and centre.

Unai Valverde summed up the Belgium game: “It was an unnecessary foul by Marín, poorly defended, but we didn’t play a bad match.”
