Roberto De Zerbi to hold first Marbella retreat with Tottenham after Man United
The Italian coach will run a training camp in Marbella after the weekend game, with 9 days off before the Coventry match.
Roberto De Zerbi, with Tottenham, will organize his first “retreat” in Marbella right after this Saturday’s match against Manchester United. The Italian arrives with the club in trouble: Tottenham are bottom of the Premier League, with 2 points from five games and still searching for their first win of the season.
The plan is to make use of nine days of rest between the United game and the next Premier League fixture, against Coventry. As RMC Sport reports, De Zerbi wants to use that time to build stronger unity in the squad after 10 new players were added in the summer transfer window.
De Zerbi is not new to this kind of work: during his 1-and-a-half seasons in charge of OM, he organized four camps, three in Rome.
