Robin Gosens backs Schalke’s forwards: “slow-motion passes”
After Schalke’s home loss to Mainz 05, Gosens explains how they’ll bounce back and refine their attacking approach.
Schalke 04 need to respond after a home defeat against FSV Mainz 05, and in that context Robin Gosens addressed the topic of the forwards. In comments published by kicker, the player spoke with reporter Toni Lieto about the striker issue and how the squad is dealing with the setback.
Gosens put it in a simple message: the team is aiming for a style built around “Slow-Motion-Pässe”, using patience in possession to create better entrances into the attacking areas. With pressure on after the loss at home, Schalke want to correct course and show up again with a clear game plan.
