Robin Risser’s Lens night sours after a mistake vs Sporting CP

Robin Risser, at Lens, came under fire for his decision on the second goal conceded against Sporting CP in the Champions League, a match that ended 0-2 this Tuesday. Even though he had been strong before, the new role he’s been given brings higher expectations, according to L'Équipe.

The game highlights how the still-relatively inexperienced defender handles the pressure in Europe, at a time when Lens needs more control at the back.
