Rolfes warns Boniface: “You can’t do that again” after 4-3

Bayer Leverkusen’s sporting director Simon Rolfes has issued a warning to Victor Boniface after the 4-3 win at Mainz. The striker’s actions put him offside, in what Rolfes described as the second such episode.

Rolfes said he understands the frustration from Boniface, but made it clear the club won’t tolerate a repeat of the same mistake. As reported by kicker, Leverkusen wants the forward to meet expectations even in heated moments.
