Ryotaro Ito boosts Valladolid’s attack with a deal until June 30, 2027
Real Valladolid sign Ryotaro Ito, a Japanese attacking midfielder arriving on a free transfer and tied to the club until June 30, 2027.
Real Valladolid have signed Ryotaro Ito to strengthen their attack. The 28-year-old Japanese playmaker joins the club on a free transfer and is under contract until June 30, 2027, the team confirmed in a press release.
Ito came through Avanti Kansai FC, Cerezo Osaka and Tsuyama Sakuyo HS and also spent time with Japan’s youth and senior squads, debuting for the national team in 2024. Before moving to Europe, he played for Urawa Reds, Mito Hollyhock, Oita Trinita and Albirex Niigata.
He made the jump to Europe in the summer of 2023 with Sint-Truidense, appearing in 110 matches over the last three seasons, scoring 19 goals and providing 12 assists (10 goals and 5 assists in the most recent campaign). Now he’s set to add attacking punch under Fran Escribá, as Mundo Deportivo reports.
