Lecce confirm through official channels that the player has a closed fracture of the medial malleolus of his right ankle after medical tests.
Lecce have announced that Santiago Pierotti underwent an MRI scan and a CT scan at the Quarta Colosso radiology clinic in Lecce. The tests revealed a closed fracture of the medial malleolus in his right ankle.
According to the club's official statement, the injury has been confirmed by imaging tests.
