Schröder targets the Clasico: Real Madrid unbeaten and set for Barça

Real Madrid forward Schröder was named the club’s best player last February, and after collecting the award she underlined that the squad is approaching the Clasico with “a very important game away against Barcelona.” The recognition reflects her month’s figures: four matches and five goals.

Speaking to Real Madrid media, the Swede credited the group effort, saying the prize “means a lot,” but that it wouldn’t have happened without the players and staff working alongside her. She also assessed the campaign so far, saying they’ve started “very well as a team” and are building something special, while acknowledging there’s still room to improve.

Real Madrid are set for the clash as they arrive unbeaten ahead of the trip to face Barcelona, in a context marked by absences mentioned around the squad.
