Sebastián Cáceres (Celta) has pubalgia and is doubtful for Elche

Sebastián Cáceres, Celta’s centre-back, is dealing with pubalgia and his availability for the return fixture against Elche is uncertain. As reported by MARCA, he was assessed in Vigo after medical tests carried out in recent hours.

The player had to leave the Uruguay national team camp at the start of the week due to these issues. For now, he is doing physiotherapy and training individually.

Cáceres arrived near the end of the transfer window and has been a starter in the last two league matches, giving coach Claudio Giráldez depth, experience and leadership.
