Sevilla face back-to-back away trips: Valencia and the Bernabéu
Before the Levante match on Monday, Sevilla arrive unbeaten on the road: 7 points from 9 with two wins.
Sevilla, coached by García Plaza, will follow up their Levante game with two straight away fixtures: first a trip to the Ciutat de València and then the Bernabéu on Sunday, October 18. The aim is to keep their record intact in a decisive stretch of LaLiga EA Sports’ eighth round.
As MARCA notes, the side have not lost away from the Sánchez-Pizjuán this season. They’ve collected seven points from nine, with two wins — at Nuevo San Mamés and in Riazor — plus a draw at the RCDE Stadium.
The run was preceded by a 1-3 home defeat to Barcelona just before the league break. Even so, it contrasts with last season’s weaker outings, when Sevilla fell to Levante (2-0) and Real Madrid (0-1) during the García Plaza era.
