Simeone without Koke, Cuti Romero and Cardoso vs Deportivo
Atlético host Deportivo La Coruña on Saturday 24 October at the Metropolitano; Kang-in Lee is available after his overload.
Diego Pablo Simeone has named the Atlético Madrid squad for Saturday 24 October's match against Deportivo La Coruña at the Metropolitano, according to Mundo Deportivo.
Three players are ruled out:
- Koke Resurrección, the captain, who will miss his fourth consecutive match with a muscle injury.
- Cristian “Cuti” Romero, who will also miss a second straight game because of a muscle strain suffered a week ago against Espanyol.
- Johnny Cardoso, injured last Tuesday against Stuttgart.
Kang-in Lee will be available. He did not play in Stuttgart due to an overload, but he has been training with the group in recent days.
