Sporting change visitor-ticket allocation rules for 2026/27

Real Sporting has outlined how it will distribute away tickets during the 2026/27 campaign for matches where its first team plays as the visiting side, with several changes to the previous process, especially around applications and what happens when there are more requests than available seats.

Changes for season-ticket holders

Sport reports that the club will allow each member to register up to four companions. The aim, according to the club, is to make travel easier for family groups or friends. The tickets will be earmarked preferably for members from the 2026/27 season.

There’s also a new approach for Honor Members: for each trip, Sporting will reserve ten tickets shared across five honor members, with two places for each. As Sport explains, they will take part first in the general draw; if they don’t get picked, a specific draw among that category will then determine who receives the ten reserved spots.

New draw system and ticket-management deal

Another update concerns the share of seats handled via Aficiones Unidas (working alongside LALIGA). When the local club has the agreement in place, Sporting will control 85% of tickets, while Aficiones Unidas will manage the remaining 15%. The new split starts in October, according to Sport.

If applications exceed the number of seats, Sporting will use a different draw format. First, an online program randomly selects ten distinct numbers among the members entered. Then, a number from 1 to 10 is drawn from a bowl to decide which of those ten positions becomes the winner. A second draw determines whether the distribution goes upwards or downwards, moving forward or back from the initially selected number based on sign-up order and available seats. Sport adds that members who register companions may access the requested seats, up to the maximum of four.

Sporting also includes priority for Embaxadores who are registered and live in the autonomous community or city where the match is played. After the exclusive sales period for members, any remaining tickets will move to Socios Simpatizantes (Carné Sportinguista, Sportinguista Yogurín or Rojiblanco), and only if seats still remain would the public be able to buy. The club says that from the first matchday of 2027/28, the general public will no longer be eligible for away tickets—only members or Socios Simpatizantes. The draw will be supervised and recorded, with viewing available at El Molinón’s Member Office, Sport reports.
