Stefan Dzodic extends his Almería deal through June 2032
Almería add two years to the Serbian midfielder, keeping him until 2032 after his Serbia senior debut.
Almería have agreed a contract extension with Stefan Dzodic, tying the Serbian midfielder down until June 30, 2032. As MARCA reports, the new deal adds two seasons and is designed to secure sporting continuity while protecting a high-upside player for the club’s future transfer plans.
The move matches the club’s recent strategy of locking in young talents. Last summer, Almería followed that approach with Dion Lopy’s move to Al Ittihad for €13m in fixed fees, plus another €6m in add-ons.
At 21, Dzodic joined in summer 2025 from Montpellier and quickly worked his way into the first-team picture. He played 33 Liga matches last season and all four of the promotion playoffs. Before the latest international break this term, he started six of eight league rounds, missing Mallorca and Burgos due to international duty.
His debut for Serbia’s senior team in the most recent break further boosts his profile, and Almería see the extension as both a boost to García Pimienta’s squad and a safeguard for one of the club’s key future assets.
