Terzic calls up Imga again as Athletic weighs Valencia trip

Christian Terzic has brought Christian Imga (Athletic) back into first-team training this Wednesday, giving the 17-year-old fresh chances to make the Valencia trip. The plan is shaped by Nico (Athletic) still working alone and Sancet being a confirmed absence at Mestalla.

Imga returned to the senior setup after a rest period following a call-up to Vallecas on Saturday and a start for the Bilbao Athletic on Sunday. Alongside him, Terzic also included several Bilbao Athletic players: Ilyas El Arbaoui, Oyono, Larrea and Conde.

The session also clarified the recovery picture: Nico continues his return plan and is on course to train with the group later this week, while Sancet remains out with a muscle issue in the soleus. Nico’s problem is in the rectus anterior, and Laporte still has not trained with the group after an indisposition ruled him out of Vallecas.
