Troy Parrott: masked intruders enter his home in Bormujos

Spanish authorities are investigating the entry of several masked intruders into Troy Parrott’s home in El Zaudín, Bormujos, according to Mundo Deportivo. The incident happened on the afternoon of last Saturday, October 17, while the Irish forward was playing a few minutes in Betis’ match against FC Barcelona at La Cartuja.

The available information says security cameras recorded the attackers entering and leaving the property, but they reportedly did not manage to steal anything. The home was empty when the intrusion took place.

The Parrott case adds to a run of similar robberies and attempted assaults in the Aljarafe area, including an attack on Monday, October 19, on Sergio Rico and Alba Silva’s residence in La Juliana. The report also recalls Antony denouncing a break-in on October 14 while Betis were in the Champions League against Porto, and that Manuel Pellegrini said one of his children was at the home when the thieves arrived.
