Two days from OM-PSG, Achraf Hakimi still not back in group training
PSG’s medical update says Achraf Hakimi is doing individual work on the pitch after a minor right thigh injury.
With OM-PSG coming up in just two days, Paris Saint Germain is still waiting on Achraf Hakimi. Per the latest medical update, the full-back is dealing with a minor injury to his right thigh sustained on Sunday during Brest.
As reported by L'Équipe, Hakimi stayed under care from Tuesday through Wednesday and, in the newest note, PSG stated that he is doing individual work on the pitch this Friday. So for now, there’s no confirmation that he’s returned to training with the group.
Given how close the derby is, the club’s recovery plan will hinge on how the thigh responds in the coming sessions. Until he can move from individual sessions to full-team work, his availability remains uncertain.
In short, PSG’s message is that Hakimi is not yet training with the squad as they head into the final stretch of preparations.
