The UEFA has sanctioned Olympique Lyonnais with a €20,000 fine and a suspended partial closure of the Virage Nord at Groupama Stadium for the club’s next home Europa League game. The ruling follows “discriminatory behaviour” attributed to Lyon supporters during the match against Crystal Palace last Thursday, which ended 3-2.
As reported by L'Équipe, the case centres on chants described as anti-stéphanois and the incident connected to those supporters at the stadium.
