Unai Emery weighs in on City charges and financial fair play

Unai Emery, Aston Villa’s head coach, spoke about the charges facing Manchester City tied to financial fair play. In comments to Diario de Sevilla, Emery said building a squad means working within the restrictions of the rules and also balancing finances between departures and arrivals.

He added that it will be “up to the tribunals” to sort it out. Emery also pointed to the team’s on-pitch level under Pep Guardiola, stressing that at times they were “unbeatable.”
