Víctor Martín warns: Athletic aim to lock down top spots vs Sevilla

The Athletic host Sevilla today at Lezama starting at 12:00, aiming to cement their position near the top. After seven matchdays, the women’s side sit third, four points behind Barcelona and two above Real Madrid, while Sevilla are 13th with eight points.
Oguiza sidelined with knee pain
Irene Oguiza, Athletic’s captain, is out with a problem: gonalgia in her right knee due to overloading.
Víctor Martín, the Athletic coach, stressed the game plan to deal with Sevilla’s strengths: “We need to be clear about our plan to counter all their attacking virtues.”
Sevilla regain Laura Pérez and also include Carla Aguilar from the youth setup in their squad. The match will be refereed by Ainara Andrea Acevedo of the Catalan committee, as Mundo Deportivo reports.
