Villarreal missing Oluwaseyi, Nathan Saliba and Alex Freeman

Villarreal’s preparations for their trip to the Bernabéu against Real Madrid are affected by absences. Coach Iñigo Pérez worked on Thursday without Tani Oluwaseyi, Nathan Saliba and Alex Freeman, and the plan is to have the full squad back only in Friday’s final session, as the internationals are scheduled to return to Spain on Thursday afternoon, per Mundo Deportivo.

The club also confirmed a muscle issue for winger Tajon Buchanan, who is ruled out for the Saturday match in Madrid.

Meanwhile, Juan Foyth and Santi Comesaña have trained normally with the rest of the group after overcoming their respective physical problems, so they could be in the squad—depending on the coach’s final call.
