Yasin Ayari (Brighton) on Atlético’s radar ahead of future moves
Atlético are watching Yasin Ayari: his deal runs to 2027, Brighton want an extension to 2028, with a reported €40-60m price.
Atlético de Madrid are keeping tabs on Swedish midfielder Yasin Ayari, currently at Brighton. The report says the LaLiga club has identified the 22-year-old as an attractive option for upcoming transfer windows.
Price and competition
Ayari’s contract expires in 2027, but Brighton want to extend it to 2028. Mundo Deportivo reports the Premier League side would demand between €40m and €60m, and Brighton previously turned down big offers for the player.
This wouldn’t be a one-club pursuit: Borussia Dortmund, Newcastle United and AC Milan are also reportedly following him. In Brighton colours, Ayari has played 82 official matches, scoring seven goals and adding four assists, with a pass accuracy around 90% and the ability to operate in different midfield roles.
