Harry Kane agrees in principle to renew with Bayern until 2029
The England striker has reached a deal in principle with Bayern through the summer of 2029, Sky Sports reports, as paperwork is being finalised.
Harry Kane has reached an in-principle agreement to renew his contract with Bayern Munich until the summer of 2029, according to Sky Sports. The club is now finalising the paperwork for the extension.
Since joining Bayern from Tottenham in 2023, Kane has scored 154 goals in 156 matches across club and country. Last season he netted 73 goals, including England’s World Cup campaign, putting him firmly in the conversation for the men’s Ballon d’Or.
During his time in Munich, Kane has won two Bundesliga titles (the first in 2025) and also lifted the German Cup and German Super Cup over the past two years. Over the last three years he has collected the European Golden Shoe twice and won the Bundesliga Golden Boot in each of his three seasons. On the international stage, he guided England to the Euro 2024 final and led the Three Lions to their best World Cup finish since 1966 this summer.
