Marc Aguado (Elche) out 4 to 6 weeks with right ankle ligament injury
Right ankle ligaments injured: Aguado will miss at least 3 LaLiga games and 1 Copa del Rey tie.
Elche has confirmed that Marc Aguado will be out between four and six weeks due to a right ankle ligament injury, affecting the anterior peroneoastragalin and peroneocalcaneal ligaments. He picked up the problem during last Saturday’s match against Villarreal.
Because of the injury, the midfielder will miss this weekend’s LaLiga game at home against Rayo Vallecano, along with next week’s Copa del Rey round. He is also set to miss league fixtures versus Valencia and Real Betis, and could sit out another Copa match if Elche advance after the first round.
If everything goes best-case, his return could come against Atlético de Madrid in the last week of November or versus Osasuna in the first week of December, although the club says the comeback depends on the injury’s progress.
