Peter Lim sells 42% of Valencia to Pitchwise for €100m

Pitchwise joins the ownership with an immediate €100m injection; Meriton stays majority and Kiat Lim keeps the presidency.

By TuFutbolero Newsroom

Valencia president Kiat Lim confirmed this Friday that Peter Lim has sold 42% of the club to Pitchwise Holdings, as the club explained in an official statement. The deal starts a new ownership phase led by Ann Rodriguez and Corey Woolfolk, with €100 million of fresh capital available immediately for direct investment.

Per Valencia, Meriton Holdings will remain the majority shareholder and Kiat Lim will continue as president. The new structure also includes the participation of Rodriguez and Woolfolk.

Valencia added that the incoming investors value the club at €1.250 billion, considering the men’s and women’s teams, Mestalla (capacity 49,000) and the Nou Mestalla project. In the statement, Kiat Lim said, “Pitchwise has been the only one with which I truly wanted to explore an association,” while insisting this move opens “a new era.” Rodriguez and Woolfolk also stressed their intent to work with everyone at the club, including the fans, to turn that plan into reality.
