Real Madrid to stay in LaLiga’s Executive Commission after official nod
LaLiga confirms Real Madrid’s place in the Executive Commission, despite the clash with Javier Tebas and with backing from Athletic and others.
LaLiga has officially confirmed that Real Madrid will remain in the LaLiga Executive Commission, even with the existing clash between the club and Javier Tebas. Real Madrid had returned to the commission in 2024 following support from Valladolid and Real Sociedad.
Backing shapes the commission
According to El Correo, the decision also came with backing from Athletic, which is no longer part of the Commission Delegada. LaLiga says the commission deals with the most relevant matters before they go to the clubs’ General Assembly.
The patronal also specifies the group: Sevilla FC, FC Barcelona, Real Betis Balompié, Deportivo Alavés and Villarreal join Real Madrid. It adds that Miguel Ángel Gil Marín was appointed First Vice President and Ion Ander Ulazia second vice president.
