Rio Ngumoha shines for Liverpool with two assists: UCL youngest records

Rio Ngumoha, of Liverpool, produced a standout performance as he delivered two assists and was named Man of the Match.

His impact also comes with club history. As Fabrizio Romano points out, Ngumoha became the youngest Liverpool player to assist in the UCL, and the youngest to start a competitive match.

He then added another milestone: Ngumoha is the youngest goalscorer in Liverpool’s history, and also the youngest player from the club to feature in European competition. In the Premier League, he ranks as the fifth-youngest goalscorer in the league’s history.

At 18 years old, the young forward is piling up records before his 19th birthday.
