Sama Nomoko: Barça works on a renewal through 30/06/2027

FC Barcelona is working on the renewal of Sama Nomoko, aiming to secure his future: he currently is tied to a contract until 30 June 2027. As Mundo Deportivo reports, the club wants to table a new offer so the 18-year-old winger stays linked long term while he completes his recovery from a major knee injury.

The setback happened in late 2025, during a UEFA Youth League match against Eintracht Frankfurt, when Nomoko suffered a right knee ACL rupture alongside damage to both menisci. He was operated on at Hospital de Barcelona, and the club’s medical team estimated recovery at around 12 months.

Before the injury, Nomoko had already shown plenty for Barça Atlètic: 14 appearances, with two goals and three assists. In June 2026 he was still training daily at the Ciutat Esportiva, running on a treadmill with support and doing strength work, with his return pencilled in once the full process is completed.
