Victor Osimhen returns as Lille must pick up points vs Galatasaray

Lille travel into this midweek Champions League game at 18:45 against Galatasaray needing to respond after two defeats have damaged their chances of qualifying. The stakes are high not only because of points, but because the club wants to stop the gloom from settling in.

Pressure in Europe

As L'Équipe reports, the match is a real chance to get their qualification path back on track. With Victor Osimhen returning, Lille can again count on a boost in attacking threat for a “match à enjeu”.

The message from Lille is clear: chase away the “clouds”, control the game, and deliver a performance that avoids fresh defensive or tactical headaches.
