Beitia and Marchal join Sanse to stay sharp during the international break

As confirmed by Real Sociedad to Mundo Deportivo, Luken Beitia and Álex Marchal will join the Sanse for the international break period. The idea is for both to keep their match sharpness before returning to the first-team rhythm, though their situations differ.

Two reinforcements for Sanse

The pair will work under Ansotegi to face the game this Saturday at 14:00 in Ceuta. Mundo Deportivo also highlights the difficulty of the venue, pointing to an intense atmosphere and the local need since the Morocco border crisis.

Marchal arrives after a run without minutes

For Marchal, this is the first time this season he links up with the Sanse. After completing pre-season with the first team and earning trust from Matarazzo, he featured in four of the opening five matches as an important substitute. Now, though, he arrives without playing time: he has gone three matches without minutes, last appearing in Elche for 23 minutes.

Beitia returns having already been down once

Beitia, meanwhile, is no stranger to this route. He is heading down for a second time this campaign, after doing so against Tenerife following two matches without minutes with the first team. Once he returned upstairs, Mundo Deportivo says he played everything for the first team. He now comes in as extra quality to the Sanse, adding depth in the wide areas alongside Dani Díaz and Astiazarán.

Mundo Deportivo also notes that it remains to be seen whether both will spend just one week with the filial or remain for a second spell through the Sanse-Granada match. Real Sociedad are due back in training on Monday 28, with the Euskal Herria Txapela final set for day two.
